We started Whidbey Island Mushrooms in late 2022 because we saw the need for gourmet mushrooms that were from local sources. I enrolled in a mushroom growing course, learned the ins and outs of mushrooms and we took off from there! I love the whole process of growing mushrooms now and am excited to grow them for our community. We also grow a variety of microgreens, greens, and some fruits. I feel that eating local is an amazing thing! Since we've owned our farm I've always dreamed of growing food for our community.
Our farm has horses, pigs, donkeys an alpaca and chickens, some of which are rescues. I give horse riding lessons, hold horse camps and train horses , training is my passion!

Our growing practices are organic, we never use any type of fertilizers or pesticides. We believe in natural growing methods for better nutrition and no chemicals in our food or on our land.
