South Whidbey Tilth is a nonprofit educational organization.
It is dedicated to cultivating living soil and community action to build an environmentally sound and socially equitable agricultural system.
It hosts a common orchard, leases plots for community gardens, a seasonal farmers market and farm stand.

Although not certified organic, all produce is grown using organic methods.
