Swantown Farm was established in 2022 to preserve farm land on Whidbey Island and provide access to local farmers looking to start or expand their operations in support of local food production and distribution.  Production consists of fresh herbs, greens, vegetables, garlic, flowers, hay and lavender.  Value added products include teas, balms, soap and honey.  Fresh berries are also available in our farm stand from our partnership with Silva Family Farm.  

Swantown utilizes sustainable and natural farming practices.  No synthetic compounds or sprays are used.  Organic soil amendments, cover crops and planting rotation are utilized to support soil health.  Fabric tunnels, mulch and tarps are deployed to control pests and weeds where appropriate.  The remaining weed management is accomplished with bi-pedal humanoids using hand tools.
