CCR is a small specialty coffee roastery located in Coupeville. Chad Rickner, the owner / operator, recently retired from Coupeville Public Schools, where he spent 8 years as an elementary teacher. Chad is now pursuing his passion of specialty coffee roasting, and happy to be a part of such a wonderful community. Chad only roasts specialty coffee, and imports the green coffee through a wonderful company called Genuine Origin. Chad is always looking for ways to improve as a coffee roaster and business owner, and regularly takes professional development classes to learn as much as possible about the industry. He holds a foundation certification in Roasting, Green Coffee, and Sensory Skills through the Specialty Coffee Association

-Each roasted batch is de-stoned, sorted by hand, cupped (sampled), bagged, and then sold by Chad. Quality control is always priority.
-Coffee education is coming soon in the form of local talks, tastings, and other community events.
