Acorn Bakery is woman-owned business ran by farmer-turned-baker Camille. Acorn draws inspiration from local flavors to create classically elegant pastry, dessert, and bread, and in doing so strives to inspire consumers to be creative in how they use seasonally available fruit and vegetables in their own home cooking.

We strive to be an eco-friendly business through three particular pillars : by using local or regional organic ingredients whenever feasible, using packaging that is biodegradable or recyclable, and practicing techniques in the kitchen that minimize food waste. Any food or pastry scrap that cannot be repurposed into something delicious for us to eat, is taken home to be fed to Camille’s chickens, sheep, or pigs, or composted.
